ABOUT BACKSTAGE PASS TOURS
Each month WMI will advertise a new tour to alumni with the location date & cost. Depending on the format the price will be between $50-100. Details about upcoming tours will be available on this page.
See a variety of best practices in innovation, safety, design, process flow, construction & team leadership.
- Hear the perspectives of the CEOs running the businesses being toured. Understand the nuances of these operations.
- Interact and build deeper relationships with other alumni from other peer groups, regions, and industries.
- Debrief with trusted peers on what you saw and heard so you can leave with useful takeaways.
TYPICAL SCHEDULE
Experiences are generally a half-day taking place between 9-12 pm or 1-4 pm including the following components.
- Arrival / Safety Process (if needed) Introductions
- CEO Discussion
- Facility tour
- Final discussion
- After – Optional meal or social time
Please check each tour at the time of booking to confirm the final details and timeline for your experience. Details will be sent to attendees before each tour including bios of other attendees and the CEO.
SHARE THE EXPERIENCE
Backstage Pass is an ideal way to introduce someone to WMI. If your guest is a new nominee for any WMI program, you can register both yourself and your guest for free.
- SEP alumni may want to invite their CEOs
- ECHO alumni many want to invite a parent or colleague
- ELP alumni may want to invite interested department heads or potential SEP candidates
REGISTRATION DETAILS
- Participation caps vary for each tour from 10 – 20 attendees. Tours may be canceled or postponed if registration is below 7 people within 2-weeks of the tour.
- No refund will be available within 30 days of the tour. Tickets can be transferred to a fellow WMI alumni or guest with an alumni chaperone.
