David O’Brien

David O’Brien is the retired vice-president and group treasurer of McCain Foods Limited. He served on the board from 1997 to 2007, was chair from 2002 to 2003 and was appointed Governor Emeritus in 2006. David received two undergraduate degrees from UNB (BBA’71, LLB’73) and a Master of Science in business administration degree from the University of British Columbia in 1974. He is a former president of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association and director of the Canadian Bar Association. In 2002, David was appointed Queen’s Counsel.
