Vanessa Paesani

Vanessa helps social purpose organizations gain
strategic clarity to deliver on their missions.
She’s traveled to 5 continents and worked locally
and internationally. She’s had insight into most
business functions through her work – governance,
strategy, execution, sales, HR – and has spent time
in both the non- and for-profit sectors. Her
specialties are helping people get clear on defined
projects within their overall mission/organization,
finding the capital to resource it, and finding ways
to monitor and measure the project. She’s a certified
executive coach, certified teacher, completed
certification in non-profit financial stewardship at
the Harvard Kennedy School, certification in sales
through MDBi, and has raised millions for clients
during the last 10 years.
Vanessa has served on the board of directors of
Venture for Canada since 2016 – their mission is a
Canada where young people can realize their
entrepreneurial potential. She also recently chaired
the Investment Readiness Program committee of the
Canadian Women’s Foundation, who disbursed
$2M to accelerate social finance in women-serving
organizations nationally.
